A Comedy, Satire, Nonsense and Surreal Poetry and Songs Cabaret Evening with MERLYNDA! - 'MAD, BAD & DAFT TO KNOW' - The Award-Winning Nonsense and Surreal Poet and Comedy Singer-Songwriter - in support of The Chichester Festival 2015.

Merlynda is not only an award-winning performance poet and singer-songwriter but the Founder of The Ventriloquist Club of Great Britain, the Founder and Poetry Judge of The Poetry Box, and a former Columnist of The Observer Series of Newspapers. She is a a much-published poet and frequently radio-broadcast poet, a published author, an award-winning and published illustrator and her irreverent poems are published in over 40 poetry anthologies, as 3 solo poetry collections and as 2 poetry audio books, to date!

Merlynda is a novice sailor although her maritime background includes her paternal grandfather who was Ship's Captain, her maternal grandfather who was Bandmaster of The Royal Marines, her uncle who served on HMS Ark Royal, another uncle who served in submarines - and another uncle who was a Royal Navy Commander.
