Tongue Fu returns to Udderbelly with a dizzying line up of spoken word, comedy and beatboxing with improvised soundtracks from the Tongue Fu Band (credits inc. Jamie Cullum, The Puppini Sisters, Beardyman) and films from design crew CR&D.
Part show, part experiment, Tongue Fu is London’s liveliest and largest spoken word show; a riotous experiment in live literature, music and improvisation.
Featuring
Chris Redmond: International spoken word fiend, musician and creator of Tongue Fu, as heard on BBC R4’s Bespoken Word and Pick Of The Week and Scroobius Pip’s Beatdown (XFM).

Reeps One: At just 25 years old, Reeps One has changed the game of beatboxing so much he is not taking part in the 2015 world championships; he’s judging them. He’s toured with The Prodigy, collaborated with Baaba Maal and racked up 35million Youtube hits.
Phil Kay: One of the finest improvising comics in the UK, star of his own Ch 4 TV series’ 'Phil Kay Feels' & 'Next Stop Phil Kay' as well as appearances on QI & Russell Howard's Good News (BBC).
Vanessa Kisuule: Winner of the 2014 Roundhouse Poetry Slam; recently featured on BBC R4’s Woman’s Hour and BBCs mini feature ‘Women Who Spit'.
