Beatnik Boulevard is very pleased and proud to host Jo Bell for August's live poetry and spoken word event.

Jo is the former director of National Poetry Day and is the current Laureate for the Canals and Rivers Trust. So it is rather apt that Jo will be reading at this canal side location.

Jo is the author of 'Kith' published by Nine Arches Press this year and been and continues to be a 'poet in residence' at poetry festivals across the UK. She is the creator of the Saboteur Award winning event 'The 52 Project' and is a real life, canal living boater.

Clare Bold has performed at The Cornbury Festival, has compered Poetry on the Spot and led poetry workshops.
Her style of poetry is as funny as it is poignant.
