An open mic with two features, both poets born in the USA but now living in England. Both are exciting readers as well as skilled writers of poetry.
Jennifer A McGowan lives in Oxford. She has had poems published in numerous magazines, journals and anthologies on both sides of the Atlantic, and her latest collection, "A Life in Captivity", was published by Indigo Dreams.
Bethany W Pope was born in Massachusetts and now lives in Swindon. She was a finalist for the Faulkner-Wisdom Awards, the Cinnamon Press Novel competition, and the Ink, Sweat and Tears poetry commission and she was recently highly commended in this year’s Poetry London Competition. She was placed in the Bare Fiction Poetry Competition and the Bristol Poetry Prize. Her latest poetry collections are The Gospel of Flies (Writing Knights Press 2014), and Undisturbed Circles (Lapwing, 2014)
