Greg Freeman
Greg Freeman is a former newspaper sub-editor, and is now the news editor for the poetry website Write Out Loud.
Greg launched his debut pamphlet collection, Trainspotters, in the Parcel Yard pub at King’s Cross station, and he has also read his poems in Sowerby Bridge station’s refreshment room, and on the station concourse at Kidderminster.
Other CV details include watching the second half of England's 2010 World Cup drubbing against Germany in a pub with Carol Ann Duffy; and contributing backing vocals with a few hundred others on Chuck Berry's no 1 hit, My Ding-A-Ling, recorded at the Lanchester arts festival in Coventry. His poetry collection Trainspotters has been described by Brian Patten as: “snapshots of gone and going worlds, more evocative than any photo”.
