Linked to LLL's Penned Up festival in Lewes Prison, this is a special event featuring two poets who have presented work or run a workshop for prisoners earlier in the day.
Maggie Sawkins is the writer behind the award-winning production, Zones of Avoidance, which explores addiction and substance misuse and grew out of her involvement with the recovery community in Portsmouth.
David Swann's highly regarded book, The Privilege of Rain, (Waterloo Press, 2010) was inspired by a year spent working as a writer in residence at HMP Nottingham.
Both poets will give readings from their work and will discuss their work in prisons and with marginalised individuals with LLL's Artistic Director, Mark Hewitt.
Price: £4.00
Time: 7:00pm
