The Neighborhood Writing Alliance was founded on the proposition that Every Person Is a Philosopher. This organization is continued by the Journal of Ordinary Thought weekly writing group which provokes dialogue, builds community and promotes change by creating opportunities for participants to write, publish and perform works about their lives.
