Award winning Broadcaster and Vocalist, Jumoké Fashola combines her love of music & spoken word in a series of MONTHLY evenings (second Sunday of each month) at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club (Upstairs) (AKA Ronnie's Bar), designed to stimulate the senses, sooth the soul and energise the eardrums.
The JAZZ VERSE JUKEBOX continues the age-old tradition of intertwining jazz and performance poetry, offering an opportunity to hear some of the best established and up & coming performance poets; celebrity guests reading their favorite poetry and live jazz; plus a unique ‘jukebox’ open mic, allowing the audience to showcase their skills of jazz improvisation or spoken word.
