An evening of poetry and acoustic music set within the warm and inviting backdrop of liverpools premier veggie cafe and general funky hang-out cum art space . This long running and popular event provides poets ,musicians , actors and whatever else one should imagine to colour the candlelit evening , the comfort and safety to express their particular brand of performance be it for the first time or for the more seasoned amongst us . For those wishing to perform ,it is advisable to arrive from 7pm onwards and simply add your name to the list , sit back and enjoy . Bring a bottle (£1 corkage) and sample the food . This is a regular event taking place upon the first Monday of each month except for bank holidays /2nd Monday .
