SAY SOMETHING
Join us for an evening of poetry and spoken word hosted by Southampton Poetry Slam winner Stewart Taylor! The night will feature the incredible Dae Fletcher and international spoken word artist Zena Edwards.
Zena writes about human frailty and the complexities of 20th and 21st century living. She uses music as a salve and a rejuvenator and words to connect and rationalise the indefinable. Zena will be facilitating a Power Plant: Page to Stage workshop on the day from 11am-4pm – find out more here.
Dae has been called “the voice of a generation” – loud, profane, and increasingly sarcastic. Their work frequently dips into the realms of gender, relationships, and coming of age in a world that routinely denies their existence.
If this isn't enough, there'll also be a number of slots available for you to say something on our Open mic!
