Renaissance One and Black Cultural Archives (BCA) present internationally-renowned poet Jean 'Binta' Breeze who marks her 60th birthday with readings from her brand new book, The Verandah Poems and lively conversation. A recipient of an MBE in 2012 for her services to Poetry and often cited as a ‘one-woman festival’, her words carry powerful political and personal messages.Join her on this special occasion where she will give readings from her book and meet the audience in conversation and celebration.
