Supported by Write Out Loud, in an historic socialist club that was forced to close, now the Red and Green Club, run by the local community. It sits beside the locks where Jo Bell's poem is inscribed, on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.
All are welcome to read their own work, or a favourite, or to bring along a song or similar. Compered by Edward Hughes.
The bar is cheap and its profits go back to the club.
