Shortlisted in 2015 for the Ted Hughes Poetry Prize, Patience Agbabi's poetry has been featured on radio and TV worldwide.
A former poet laureate of Canterbury, her latest book "Telling Tales" is a vivid re-telling of Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales" for the 21st century. Agbabi's latest collection is utterly unique. Boisterous, funky, loud mouthed, sublimely lyrical and bursting a the seams, "Telling Tales" takes one of Britain's most significant works of literature and gives it thrilling new life.
