SCRATCH SUNDERLAND
Calling all the potential performance poets and soon-to-be slam stars of Sunderland! Join us in a pilot Sundy version of the very successful Apples and Snakes Scratch Club - a safe place to try out new work, experiment, and get constructive and supportive feedback from your peers.
We focus on PERFORMANCE, helping you to get the very best out of your words. We share skills, we learn physical and vocal techniques, we get comfortable with microphones, we OWN it! Artists are asked to please bring a poem, and to wear loose, comfortable clothes.
