A lovely venue for a poetry reading happening on the first Saturday of the month. £5 and a contribution for refreshments. Four brilliant poets each time.

Homage to Bataille with Michael Wyndham, Emma Hammond, Mark Waldron and Niall O' Sullivan introduced by Tom Bland
Michael Wyndham is a regular performer on the London poetry scene, being the feature poet at a number of events throughout the capital. In print, his poems have been published by International Times, The Recusant, Blue of Noon, Inclement, Trespass, South Bank Poetry and Floored Genius anthology to name but a few. He is currently working towards his first collection.
Emma Hammond’ first collection, tunth-sk, was published in 2011 by Flipped Eye. In addition she has self-published two pamphlets, softly softly catchy monkey and Sleeveless Errand. Her second full collection The Story of No was published last year. Emma is currently writing lots of poems about the shopping centre in Walthamstow.
Mark Waldron was born in New York in 1960 and grew up in London. He works in the advertising business and lives in East London with his wife and son. He began writing poetry in his early 40s. He published two collections with Salt, The Brand New Dark (2008) and The Itchy Sea (2011), and his third collection, Meanwhile (2016), with Bloodaxe.
Niall O' Sullivan has performed his poetry across the UK and Europe since the late nineties. He has been a resident poet for the South Kilburn Estate and the Wimbledon Championships and has released three collections of poetry with Flipped Eye. He currently hosts London's longest running poetry open mic, Poetry Unplugged, at Covent Garden's Poetry Cafe and teaches at London Metropolitan University.
