Dave Reeves, the Black Country Living Museum's Poet-in-Residence leads a workshop which uses both the built environment of the Museum and your own experience as starting points, and is designed to equip you for the journey and then take your writing in new directions.
In a warm and supportive atmosphere the past will inform but not dominate the present and, using a variety of writing forms, Dave will guide you through a day of concentrated but fun writing, that will help you to look at your work from new perspectives and, perhaps, unexpected angles. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with writing experience, and there will be plenty of opportunity to talk about your work and how you would like it to develop.
