Chairhouse Presents is very pleased and excited to announce the return of our good friend and ‘poet laureate of the north’ Mike Garry. A social commentator of our time , a proud Mancunian with a passion to tell it how it is. His delivery will kick you where it hurts and his streetwise observations will sore your eyes with his truths of the working class struggles and joys.
Mike will do 2 sets, one with The Cassia String Quartet, who have worked with producer Joe Duddell, New Order and The Charlatans among others.
Mike and the Cassia released Ode to Saint Anthony, a tribute to the late Tony Wilson to critical and popular acclaim last year.
