---------
Visceral Realism is a new magazine which showcases the work of critical and creative individuals operating in Greater Manchester.
We represent and bring together all manner of artists and writers at many different stages in their careers. We want to showcase the best developing work being produced in, around, or about Greater Manchester, whether these be: short stories, critical reviews, essays, journalistic pieces, poetry, photography, illustration, visual art, sketchbook scrawls and fervent rhetoric, including crossover material between creative and critical work.
We want this magazine to offer a unique space in which we can map the constantly evolving and shifting multitude of artistic voices Manchester has to offer. Through this event we are hoping not only to celebrate the release of our inaugural issue but to bring together a community of critical and creative practitioners and encourage collaboration.
