An inspirational day of talks, readings and discussions on the occasion of the centenary of T S Eliot's first publication "Prufrock and Other Observations". The setting will be the tranquil garden at Little Gidding, overlooking unspoilt countryside.
The celebrated novelist Ali Smith will read "The Love song of J. Alfred Prufrock" and discuss it with biographers Adam Begley and Robert Crawford. Marjorie Perloff will be lecturing on "The Four Quartets" and Ron Schuchard will give an update on recent Eliot publications. The audience has the opportunity to contribute with
"My Favourite Eliot" and the programme concludes with a special guest reading of "Little Gidding".
Costs include morning coffee, a 2 course buffet lunch with wine and afternoon tea.
