Launching an exciting new one-on-one literary interview series, Adam Lowe will introduce author and photographer PP Hartnett this Manchester Pride for the inaugural paper/cuts salon.
Envisioned as an in-depth, intimate discussion of craft and context, paper/cuts will see Adam Lowe invite a range of exciting writers to his sofa. The first ever event launches on the Friday of the Manchester Pride Big Weekend in The People’s History Museum, as part of Pride's Superbia calendar of cultural events.
Adam Lowe is Vada’s Editor-in-Chief, and runs local LGBT writers group Young Enigma. PP Hartnett is an internationally published writer of novels such as Call Me, Sixteen and Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicide. He has edited three collections of short fiction.
Following the successful publication of his first collection of poetry entitled date of birth, time of death, this event launches Hartnett’s second hardback print collection of poetry, three men, in tears.
Lowe invites Hartnett to read from his collection, before engaging in a Q&A session with a focus upon high-risk online engagement, internet predators and fake profiles – as well as the wider context for these issues.
