When Orpheus is pulled out of the canal and the Berlin Wall is transformed into an urban beach, it’s clear there is more to survival than simply staying alive. Rules of Survival is Ian Harker’s first full collection. In Elsa Fischer’s debut pamphlet, Palmistry in Karachi, we are drawn into a surreal life and an odyssey across continents, time and experience.
