‘I see life in nothing but the certainty of your love’ wrote John Keats to Fanny Brawne, the woman he was in love with but unable to marry. Join us by candlelight this Valentine’s Night to hear poems expressing love and desire in their many forms, hosted by Keats House Poet in Residence Hannah Lowe.
Richard Scott was born in London in 1981. His pamphlet Wound, published by Rialto, won the Michael Marks Poetry Award 2016. His poem ‘Crocodile’ won the 2017 Poetry London Competition. His debut collection is forthcoming from Faber & Faber in April 2018.
Liz Berry's debut collection Black Country (Chatto & Windus, 2014), described as ‘a sooty, soaring hymn to her native West Midlands’ (Guardian), was a PBS Recommendation, received a Somerset Maugham Award, won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Award and the Forward Prize for Best First Collection 2014.
