Open Mic Event

Held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at The Fountain Inn Upper Forcester Street Walsall WS1 1XB
Held in the bar of the pub O&O is a freindly, supportive environment with a selection of real ales and snacks availabe.
Usually we run till about 10pm with 1 featured poet performing an extended set. There are a maximum of 12 open mic slots but we are as flexible as possible given time constraits.
Please get in contact if you would like a slot or indeed to feature, reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed where possible

For the next episode of your favourite open mic night at the Fountain we welcome an incredibly talented and socially conscious poet and all round lovely human being - Scarlett Ward
"Scarlett Ward is a 25 year old Wiccan poet working from Cannock. Her work has recently featured in anthologies from publishers such as Verve Poetry Press, Hedgehog Poetry, and Fly on the Wall Press. This year she guest-ran Anchor Gallery poetry workshop "Pen To Paper" and her monthly poetry spoken word evening at Caffe Del Nino was nominated & shortlisted for a Saboteur Award. Scarlett has also organised & curated art exhibitions such as ArtXPoetry in Walsall "Direct Action" gallery, and she is a proud momma to a giant Land-Snail called Merle.
There will be a maximum of 12 slots available so be sure to get in contact if you want one as they fill up fast. Its going be a belter folks
