Poets, writers and storytellers take to the stage to perform live, amplified by the improvised music of the Tongue Fu band.
Featuring;
Jan Blake – One of the world’s leading storytellers, specialising in stories from Africa, the Caribbean, and Arabia. Recent highlights include Hay Festival, Viljandi Harvest Festival, Estonia and TEDx Warsaw
Joshua Idehen – Poet, singer and front-man of Hugh and Benin City whose latest album ‘Last Night’ was given 9/10 by Clash Magazine, 4/5 by Q Magazine and championed by Gilles Peterson.
Cecilia Knapp – Poet, playwright and performer. Commissions include the TATE, The Guardian and the BBC. Vogue named her as one of the UK’s young poets to watch. Her latest play ‘Losing The Night’ recently premiered at The Roundhouse.
