After a brief hiatus due to the closure of the Everyman Theatre and Bistro, Dead Good Poets' Society is back with its long-running (22 years and counting) Poetry Open Floor. will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month finishing at 10pm.
At the Open Floor, there will be numerous spaces for poets to perform their own poems. Numerous comfortable seats for audience members to sit in wonderment and appreciation. Numerous opportunities for natter and laughter - not to mention the Café's superb food and beverages available at very reasonable prices. Lesley, former food manager at the Everyman Bistro, is now employed by the Garden Café and she has promised us 'Good beer and good cheer'.
What's not to like?...
O, but it's been AGES! And we've missed you so! We are looking forward to our regular (and irregular) members trotting a little bit further along Hope Street than was their wont. The DGPS Board searched high and low for a venue that would have the same intimate and welcoming vibe as the Bistro but was fully accessible to all poetry-lovers. And we found it - hurrah!
Poets can sign up to read from 7pm. Reading slots will be awarded on a first come basis but we will do our utmost to accommodate as many poets as possible.
Price: £2.00 / £1.00
Time: 7:00pm for 7:30pm

Hello. I am trying to contact the Dead Good Poets' Society to book a slot at their regular Open Mic for 2018.
My first full collection, Melted Cheese on the Cosmic Pizza, has just been published by Erbacce Press . Can anyone help?
Kind regards, Andrew Button
