Word Central Open Mic Poetry and Spoken Word

You can book your open mic slot from noon on Tuesday 9th November via mail@flapjackpress.co.uk.
NB Open mic slots are 3 minutes per performer. Slots are allocated on a 'first come first served' basis from the stated booking day. If they are already filled you will be offered a space on the reserve list.

November's guest Steven P. Taylor's work ranges from character observation to hard hitting and political, although he is most well known for his humorous and topical work. During lockdown he published his third collection, 2020vision, with profits donated to Bury Hospice. Steven has worked with some of the biggest names in poetry and comedy, including Hovis Presley, Peter Kay and Jo Brand, and brings his new solo show to Bury Met in February next year.
