Poetry With a Twist is the latest poetry event to hit Wolverhampton City and is guaranteed to be filled with lots of surprises!

We have some top poets to keep you entertained throughout the afternoon, including the talented international poet, author, freelance writer, editor and creative writing tutor Simon Fletcher.

The wonderful Kuli Kohli, soon to be Wolverhampton's newest Poet Laureate in 2022 is one of our headliners! She has been interviewed by the BBC! She is an author, writer, poet and founder of the Punjabi Women's Writing Group.

We will also be joined by recent Shrewsbury Poetry Slam Champion, Priyanka Joshi, who will be taking the stage, alongside performance poet, storyteller and poetry slam semi-finalist Gracey Bee, and the outstanding performance poets, author Kenton Samuels and creative soul Claire Tedstone.

This will be afternoon of fun and celebration of poetry, like no other, and of course there is the "twist"... not to be missed!

(Even if, you have never heard live poetry, or have never been to a poetry event before, come, and let us transform you into a lover of poetry and spoken word!) And if you are a regular at poetry events, this one has a unique twist in store, like no other!
