Armed only with their razor-sharp wits, 12 of the hottest spoken word stars in the UK go into battle for the Cheltenham Poetry Festival Cup!

Get ready to cheer and shout on your favourites as it all kicks off in the hood.

Who will be the last poet standing after this fast and furious bardic battle? Sit back and enjoy a nightly of smoking hot spoken word.

This high-octane and exhilarating event is hosted by the hilarious Clive Oseman and Nick Lovell.

Clive Oseman is a Swindon based Brummie multi slam-winning spoken word artist, comedian, satirist and promoter who is now headlining events internationally in the real world as well as online with his blend of the satirical, the surreal and the slightly absurd. He regularly teams up with Nick Lovell to host events, usually under the Oooh Beehive banner. His third poetry collection It Could be Verse was published by Black Eyes Publishing in 2020. His debut one-man show "What if they laugh at me?" debuted in Birmingham on May 8th.

Nick Lovell has won poetry slams from Nantwich to Hereford via Wolverhampton and Audlem, and has taken part in the Hammer and Tongue National Slam finals at the Albert Hall. His debut collection Ever Since the Accident was released in December 2019. Nick co-hosts Oooh Beehive, a Swindon based spoken word and poetry open mic, alongside the Oooh Beehive Online UK Poetry Slam Championships.
