What would the monsters in our legends and fairytales tell us, if they could?
Tom Juniper's poems allow the goblins, trolls, elves and even Baba Yaga their own say. Sometimes funny, sometimes tragic, Monstrous will make you look at our mythological monsters in a whole new light.

Tom Juniper is a performance poet from Sheffield, UK. They have been published sporadically and have performed repeatedly.
They write about folklore, gender and neurodivergence, among other things. Tom’s new book Monstrous is a selection of poems in which the monsters of various folklore traditions get a chance to speak for themselves.
Tom also hosts Nine Lives Poetry, a monthly-ish spoken word night in Sheffield.
You can find Tom online at https://tomjuniper.poetry.blog/ and follow him on Twitter (@Tom_S_Juniper) and Instagram (@Tom_S_Juniper).
Tim Ralphs is a storyteller working with traditional tales - folklore, myths and legends - revitalising them for live performance. No stranger to the strange, he brings stories of wild places, of meetings between the human and the other-than, romance, fear and strange dreams. After all, someone has to take this stuff seriously.
