This month we are highlighting R M Francis as our very special headliner. During Covid lockdowns he supplied great readings via Zoom for our lockdown video event/project. (Check out SpokeScreen on YouTube!) This month he will regale us with fascinating, mostly poetic excerpts from his new book, The Chain Coral Chorus. Copies of his writings will be available to purchase, during the break.
R M Francis:
is a lecturer in Creative and Professional Writing at the University of Wolverhampton. His novels, Bella and The Wrenna were published by Wild Pressed Books and his poetry collection, Subsidence, came out with Smokestack Books. His academic work has featured in journals and edited collections. His latest book, The Chain Coral Chorus, is published with Play Dead Press and is a Geopoetic exploration of the Black Country, tracking his time as Poet in Residence for the Black Country Geological Society.
