A double book launch, featuring A J Akoto, Aflo.the poet and Priss Nash.
These three phenomenal poets will be with us for an evening of conversations, hearing poetry and launching these ground-breaking books, at this unique Afrori Books event.
There will be wine and cheese, tears, joy and a lot of passion.
Come and join the conversation on what will be an incredible event.
AFlo. the poet is a Brighton-based spoken word artist, activist and academic. She is a storm of energy who takes the whole room’s breath with her flow.
Priss Nash is a Brighton-based poet, rapper, musician and model who aims to break stereotypes, make audiences question their own biases, decolonise minds and celebrate Black joy.
A.J. Akoto is a writer of Ghanaian descent living and working in London. She has a degree in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, with particular focuses in Latin literature, and Visual Culture.
