Mole Valley Poets are delighted to have Alwyn Marriage as our guest poet ‘on the sofa’. Our ‘sofa poet’ events have been popular and successful evening with established writers sharing their stories, their poetry, and encouraging the writing of others in workshop sessions, and we’re very pleased to have Alwyn with us to continue this tradition.
Alwyn Marriage is a poet, lecturer and writer of both fiction and non-fiction, a Research Fellow at the University of Surrey, and a former lecturer, editor and CEO of literary NGOs. Known for her lectures and work on environmental matters, Alwyn is also a member of the Poetry and Spoken Word Group committee of the Society of Authors. She is also a lively and entertaining companion and a good evening is in prospect.
