The mission of the 7 Hills Slam is to a present a reading series that is open and welcoming to a diverse cross-section of Worcester area writers and performers, creating a space that is safe and encouraging to everyone regardless of age, gender, race, orientation, nationality, or ability. We strive to provide a space where everyone feels they can speak their truth, listen openly to the experiences of others, and bring any issues to the table safely, as well as to present a reading that encourages personal artistic improvement while strengthening the Worcester area poetry community.
