Daddy
I once knew a man
who is sorely missed.
Going out to sea he was,
but as he left that night;
he placed upon the forehead
of each daughter
a sweet and gentle kiss.
Overcome by terror
I screamed;"Don't go, please stay,
if only to run away and play!"
With a laugh and a smile,
a pat on the head he did

Morrigan
Looking from the darkness of my evergreens
I see the human race has moved beyond
this space to where destruction of the
wild and free is bound to their every
whim and every need.
Even in the people who say they hug
the trees I found they ride in what
do they call them, ah yes, SUV's; which
spews forth stuff to which no one
should ever have to breathe.
I am but a humble servant of thi...

The Mother
The Mother can be heard
in the whistle of the wind.
Though none have truly listened

The Voice that blows gently
upon the winds has awakened
the hearts of her children.

Where one day Her laughter
will be heard, not only in the wind,
but in the waters of the sea,
in the mountains of the earth.
Through the cac...

The Alley

I always wanted to see if there
were any blood stains on the
concrete walkway mixed in
with all the garbage we leave behind
as we delude ourselves in modern
luxuries and technologies.
I always wanted to see if I
could survive that ...

Color of my skin
I was born this way,
I did not ask to be
as I am, so remember this;
I am not the one that
stole you from your lands
or took that which did not
belong to me. I am not the one who
brought you to this place
or destroyed your sacred space.
I am not the one that
raped your mothers
and daughters.
I am not the one that
killed your fathers,
brothers or sons.
I am not the one
that brought...

Dark Phoenix
rising swelling
from ashes
long cold
removed from
the fire at
a place
undesired
by times
endless rage
once casting liquid
fire upon those that
lived death among the many
left to preserve terror for all
time and
she laughs
ripened and
sweetened
with the cries
of pain made by
those that
remain lame
for their
souls she
does claim
