Attempting to find my style
Hi I write poems as a hobby but I usually do narrative poems or prose poems with religious/ creepy themes. This poem is part one in a 3 part series about names. Please be honest with your thoughts.
What’s In a Name?
Birth
In the beginning she void, formless.
An unnamed fear corrupted and gormless –
cradled in the Maketorie’s shadow.
Woe unto the wicked
pity they that know.
In the beginning she was poison. Vile
Odious gentile!
She danced on the tongues of elders.
The spew her out and she rained down her rath upon the Earth
Upon all her offenders.

Admittedly, I don't comprehend your meaning.... that being said, I like it. And to finding your style, just keep writing... Listen to your heart and you will know... Marla Joy
