Chat up lines
"Get yer coat love, you've pulled" never seems to work for me.
What is your favourite, most poetic, hated, loathed chat up line?

One that tickled me was the line used by an acquaintance to a rather chubby girl (not me, honest!) he had just seen dancing:
"Yer quite light on yer feet fer a big girl, fancy givin it a go?"
much to our amazement she didn't hit him, and accepted his request for a dance ... at least I think that's what he was offering.
Don't suggest you try it Paul - :)

'Do you know, I've never slept with a poet before...'
I was introduced to this line by our man for all seasons Alvin Guinnessberg. Here is the link to the poem he posted on another thread - it is amusing.

'I'll marry you if you buy me a drink'.
Fuck me, it worked.
Still married to her now. 30 years later.
Totally true.
:-)
