Creative writing course - Bury
Hi folks and folkesses (can't you tell i'm on my PC ; ))
I'm not sure if this is the correct place on this site to post this thread - but hey - i'm an adult and i'm gonna post it.
I just wanted to post my appreciation for the two day Creative Writing course run by Bury College via EU funding. I have never attended a course of this nature and so my expectations in some ways amounted to a game of blind mans buff (or is it bluff?- buff sounds much more amusing anyroad).
That said, I found this short course to be most excellent (to quote the Gods - Bill and Ted)...in that the two days amounted to a great adventure and stirred my enthusiasm for all things creative
so a BIG thanks to Margueritte and Bury college (via the EU funding and all those involved in putting the bid together in the first place)
and a BIG thank you to the other attendees from whom I learned many things and for making me feel welcome
thanks v much
oh and last but not least - thanks to WOL for posting the advert in the first place - without the ad, I would have been reading my back copies of the Beano, or splitting the atom or hugging a tree somewhere instead of cultivating my creative stuff
thanks v much
steve
arse kissing over now, so I'm off to brand some cattle with a Piping Hot Rowenta ; )
