Far-flung open mics

On Monday July 7th I took part in an open-mic at Left Foot Charleys in Traverse City Michigan. http://www.leftfootcharley.com/calendar/

It was enjoyable - the natives were friendly and good listeners, and it was open-air. Has anyone else attended an open-mic in a far-flung location?
