Keeping a low profile

So what is it with you WOL'ers who keep changing your profiles? What are you trying to wash away? There's a perfectly good edit function to enable subscribers to change their details, so why go to the trouble of re-creating a new profile? Get real and stay real for goodness sake!

How do you mean? Are folks deleting their profiles and then putting up another one? How do you tell?

I think there are very many different reasons why poets choose to delete their profiles - you couldn't possibly judge without knowing them.

In my opinion, it only becomes a problem when it's every other day - then I suppose you have to draw a line under it - for the integrity of the site.

This is probably an administration irritation, and understandably so. IMO, it doesn't much affect the rest of us who probably don't care at all whether someone is profile antsy. Maybe it has to do with perceived artistic growth, temperament and all that jazz. Yes, the edit button is excellent, and fully capable of making changes within the given space. Take whatever action you deem appropriate to prevent unnecessary 'blog clog'.

Maybe it's just that we all need to feel re-born every so often.
