Last night, our wee poetry room was crammed with 22 poets and audience members.

The 'Nearly Dead' poets Des and Alvin did a stirling job of compereing in their usual cheeky style and Julia McClay absolulety brought the house down in her 15 minute guest slot.

Feedback recieved on the night:

Positives: great night, very enjoyable, really good evening, really enjoyed it, good night, great variety, really good night, guitar, cracking good night eclectic, great variety, fab simply fab, excellent poetry again, great night, variety and music everyone, great, great stuff, wonderful.

Areas for improvement: sound system and mic, noise downstairs.

It was a fantastic night. Really enjoyed it and Julia was excellent on the guest slot. Cant wait until next month.

I've missed Middleton late, hopefully get to the next one or one after that.

On which note, is the time going to be fixed or is it going to sometimes be at the earlier times as a permanent fixture?

I only ask because travelling to the earlier starts isn't doable for me coming from Liverpool.
