We were a select, exclusive (small!) group last night but the quality of the poetry was outstanding as usual.

Newcomer Dave Ord was particularly brilliant and we hope to see and hear him again soon!

Feedback recieved on the night was:

Good points: varied poets, poets, good craic, here's to taking it easy, sharing & listening, interesting company, good poems & lots to learn, friendly atmosphere, the company.

Areas for improvement: each invite a poet friend, set up he mic or have an area to stand, wider advertising.

We will be advertising in the local papers again next time and have also spread the word around local writing groups and libraries so hopefully we will have a better turn out next month. We will also be returning to the usual format of having a mic and 'stage' area at the front.

Always have problems, Gemma getting down to Middleton on a Sunday and back, but I will definately get down when i can again..

Sorry I couldnt come, We didnt get back from Ashleighs dance comp till 8.30p.m and we'd set off at 7.30am that morning so was well and truly knackered but will defo be back next month x
