Middleton 28th Feb

I returned last night to Middleton after illness had kept me away for a few months and I had a wonderful suprise in how many poets, new and old, were there and how fantastic the work they were sharing was. An excellent night all round, (if a little chilly!). P.S. thank you all for the warm re-welcome and a special thank you to Seamus for talking photos and preventing me from having to do so on my camera phone!

Feedback recieved on the night was:

Good Points: excellent poets and poetry, good evening, variety/ quality, nice room, when in this room the atmosphere is top, great poets, lovely as always, good variety, warm people/ great poetry, great/ different poetry, another fine evening, varied acts and laughter, good turnout.

Areas For Improvement: room is very cold/ my poems, more geating, brrr!!!, middleton!, I miss the re-runs of the X-Files, better heating, none, heating in the room, none, none, heating and seats that face backwards.

I will do my best to get some heating on next month promise!

My first time at Middleton, really enjoyed it and refreshing to meet some fresh faces and some not so fresh (sorry Paul :-)). Don't usually venture out on a sunday but very glad that I did.
