Puzzle Hall Live Poets
October Poets at the Puzzle was a great gig with around a dozen people managing to fill the space with their enthusiasm. Paul Blackburn as guest gave us a great range of diatribes and insights, and was followed by a wide variety of styles and messages in the Open Mic slot. Lots of lively discussion afterwards too!

DO NOT MISS the November 3rd session where the guest will be Emjay. Winner of Ilkley Literature Festival open mic competition, Emjay has recorded a CD of 'Headpoems', and has just completed her first collection of poems as part of her poetry MA at MMU.She only began writing poetry five years ago and tells us she is hugely grateful for the Puzzle support at the start of performing career.
I remember her debut reading, and the immediate sense of recognizing a new confident voice capturing the environment we live in and its relation to our emotional landscapes.
I hope there will be a good turn out.
See you there..
