Rain

The rain splinters across my window, kindred to my irrepressible thoughts,
Clasped in a suffocating daze, conflicted I am caught,

Grey clouds dart hurriedly, echoing across my view,
Somewhere in my untapped vision, I believe Heaven ensues,

Dampened eyes in the rain I am cloaked, as unfinished tears graze my cheeks,
Weightless, through memories I sift, for the sense of you I seek,

A numbing stillness that speaks only of you, eternally transfixed in your grace,
Memorizing your laughter, your gentle words, your fading loving embrace,

The rain splinters across my window.

Melinda, it would be easier to gain feedback on your work if you made a profile for yourself and added you work to the blog section. Regards Graham.
