I'd never read any of his stuff before but I liked both poems that I read on poem hunter. I liked them because they were so stark and fresh - imagery you hadn't heard before delivered in a way that made you sit up.
Maybe I'm alone in this but I think he's brilliant. Have you ever heard him perform? Mesmerising. I heard him do some of Killing Time the long poem for the millennium before it was published. It revived my interest in writing. He's also a really nice bloke.
