I hope this is the right place for posting this, but I have noticed that my photo gallery on my computer now contains many of the poet's profile pictures plus thousands of others . The only connection I can imagine might, if not from hacking on the site, have come from a facebook identity hacking which has a photo gallery, itself containing random contents in the thousands.
I will have my computer cleaned up, and have now a clean facebook profile page, but perhaps one can check the site here to find a leak. I'd be grateful!

You say photos from this website appeared in your computer gallery. Is it only photos from this site or others too?

It sounds like something on your computer scraping websites for photos. We don't "push" photos to your computer.

I'm not clear on what you are saying about your Facebook profile. We only use Facebook for login identity and don't request permissions from Facebook that would allow us to post to your Facebook profile.

If anyone else has had a similar issue or you can find a way to make this happen again, we'll look into it more.

I'd recommend running a local virus scanner too.

Thank you Paul for getting back so quickly. I do intend to clean up my computer, and hopefully that will resolve any issues - I take your word for it on the connection with facebook. There are 162.000 extra images now imported from somewhere else. I simply noticed the photos while checking my new page, as I know the old one had been hijacked. What you say makes sense. Maybe this is more common than I imagined.
