Last month’s seeds are now popping up like teenagers urgently demanding a bed of their own. So that’s our theme, not beds, Seeds.
And we have ceded our headline slot to the wondrous Gary Longden to dig us in so we’re well grounded.
Do come and enjoy an evening of mirth, worth and worms in the super surroundings of the Lamp theatre space at Brownhills Community Centre. It’ll do you good.
THEME for May: Seeds
HEADLINER: Gary Longden
Gary has curated “Poetry Alight”, a quarterly Poetry live event for over a decade now. In between he has been Staffordshire Poet Laureate and Uttoxeter Racecourse Poet in residence and written the “Rime of the Staffordshire Hoard” which had a theatre stage production at the New Vic Newcastle Under Lyme. He recently judged the Stafford Lit fest Poetry competition.
Entry: Donation accepted (suggest £3)
Time: 7:15pm
Note: Write Out Loud does its best to ensure the accuracy of event listings but can accept no liability or responsibility if it's just plain wrong.
