Biography

I am Afyca, a 19years old from Nigeria. I am a poet by talent learnt to wrote poems when I wanted to express some words that I wanted to tell no one. Got to know this platform from a friend who encouraged me that I needed to share my poems so people can give me a solution about it. Apart

World seems dark, world seems cold Two souls, alone in their separate abodes Yet, it may be just a figment of the mind At least, within fantasy, hope we find Not compatible, at least not at first But we'll learn to blend, quench each other's thirst Together, we'll share all that life brings A fresh branch, a new page, where our story sings Opened after life, a peaceful beginning awaits Let's embrace it, my dear, our souls relate.

Perfection

Kept within me, I can't really say, But life can be full of uncertain mysteries. It gives you death when you need life, And love when you crave hatred. Yet, I couldn't believe that there still might be someone, Even after meeting many. Now, I feel like a bee that spots a honey-filled hive, Where perfect imperfections make imperfection perfect. But when I see you, everything will be an imperfect perfection
