The Ivy When I entered the green, I did not know what would become of me. That I would grow to love the ivy that would grip me so tightly. And once, when I lay in desperation, as it wrapped around me, I sobbed in exasperation. I shed a single tear, Showing just one moment of fear. The truth contained in salt affects things like this ivy; its growth rarely ever halts. But when it recoiled, I was not free; I longed for its false security. And that is when I knew You meant, You mean, You will always be, more important to me than my sanity.
