Death in Real Time

His last gasp of air

Tick, tock

She stares in despair

Tick, tock

But the children keep on screaming

The wind keeps on screeching

The hammer keeps on pounding

The cars keep on sounding

Watching

Tick, tock

The hour

Minute

Second

To stop

But

It does not

This first reminded me of a piece I wrote a few years back with the interlude of the "tick, tock".

Seems such a long time ago now anyway I enjoyed reading and comparing the 2 thanks for sharing and the trip down memory lane ?
